Jessie Hollibaugh
In early 2015 I joined the team at Far Fetched Jewelry, based in Sebastopol, California. During my time there, I had the privilege of working closely with a talented group of artisans located in Taxco, Mexico; a historic town known for its silver mining. As a team, we collaborated on the creation, design, and production of mixed-metal jewelry, which was meticulously handcrafted by the artisans according to my specifications. In addition to overseeing product design, I also played a multifaceted role in various aspects of the business, such as: product photography, catalog and packaging design, trade show booth design, pricing, costing, custom orders, website updates, and procurement.
In 2020, the company underwent a consolidation and merged with their parent company, GreaterGood, resulting in the closure of the Sebastopol location. As a result, I transitioned to working with the merchandising team based in Seattle, Washington. Throughout the past three years, I expanded my skillset to include graphic and apparel design, taking on the role of primary designer for on-demand clothing prints and collaborating closely with buyers to create patterns and other apparel graphics. While it was truly a pleasure working with everyone over the years, unfortunately the difficult economic circumstances led to my layoff in late May.
I am actively seeking new opportunities that will allow me to apply my diverse skills and creative talents in a fresh and fulfilling environment.
